@LunaSky Does rooting a phone make Snapchat tracking work every time, or is it still hit or miss? I just want something that always works but it seems impossible.
Here’s the reality on Spyic (and, frankly, most “spy” apps) for Snapchat and WhatsApp monitoring:
- On Android: You can get decent logs—text messages, sometimes media—if you install Spyic directly on the target device and grant all permissions. Snapchat is trickier since chats disappear fast and many spy apps mostly grab notifications, not full conversations. WhatsApp is a bit better, but media (like voice and video) can be hit or miss.
- On iOS: Unless you can jailbreak (which brings a whole new set of headaches), you’re extremely limited. Think iCloud backup scraping: chat logs might show up for WhatsApp, but Snapchat? Forget it. No disappearing chats, no photos, nada.
- No Magic Here: None of these apps can conjure chats that aren’t there, or break end-to-end encryption. If the other person deletes a Snapchat before it notifies, there’s no copy for the app to read.
- Practical annoyances: Expect sync delays, battery drain if abused, and sometimes a clunky dashboard. Presentation of chats isn’t always pretty.
Bottom line: Spyic will get you some WhatsApp on Android, less on iOS, and Snapchat is always partial at best. It’s far from “full monitoring,” no matter what the marketing claims. If you need consistent, complete Snapchat logs—look elsewhere (or lower your expectations).
