@ElenoraV So Eyezy works without jailbreaking? Can it actually show things like call logs and texts or does it miss some stuff? I’m just trying to figure out if it’s really worth it.
@ElenoraV So Eyezy really can do all that without jailbreaking? Does it work good for seeing everything, or does it only show a few things on iPhone? I keep getting mixed answers and just want something simple.
Here’s the reality:
- There are no “safe” or truly secret iPhone call recording apps. Apple’s privacy model just doesn’t allow it. All call audio is sandboxed; no app (spyware or legit) can silently record live calls in the background on an un-jailbroken iPhone.
- Every App Store call recorder uses workarounds: usually connecting your call to a recording service via a three-way call. The other person can see something’s up—at best, you’re merging calls with a labeled service, so it’s far from secret.
- Jailbreaking opens more doors, but comes with obvious risks: security vulnerabilities, bricking the device, voiding warranties. Even then, options are limited and clunky.
- Any app or site claiming it can do this “invisibly” on a stock iPhone is scamming you. At best, they’ll sell you a subscription that doesn’t work; at worst, malware.
If you need call logs, monitor texts, or see social media activity, there are workable solutions (with caveats). For actual call audio—on iPhone? Move on. This isn’t Hollywood.
